12/2/2014 · Okay so i have a 2017 rzr 1000 xp . i recently replaced the factory carrier bearing with a superatv carrier. After replacing i noticed my rear prop shaft was bent. Mind you i never had any driveline noise till i took my factory carrier out and upgraded it with superatv.

5/7/2015 · since the first mile I have what seems to be a front driveline or R&P vibration, Polaris says this is a normal noise , but previous models and some new XP4 1000s don’t have it, but many do many claim the updated DL is also out of balance, some have had custom DLs built which only solved the problem for a few and may have made it worse for some.

11/21/2019 · My boyfriend and I just picked up our new Ranger 1000 on Friday and when we drove it on Saturday we noticed the driveshaft seemed unusually loud, it was worse on the paved road. We could hear what we thought was it spinning but it makes this loud whirring sound, not sure exactly how to describe it but it didn’t seem normal.
7/15/2019 · Looking for the vibration and noise , I would start at rebuilding the front differential before replacing the drivelines and carrier bearings unless you notice a particular problem with them. After you get into the front differential assembly and check all pieces and bearings for noise and wear, repair and replace bearings and seals. Then reinstall the front differential and go for a ride.
8/21/2019 · Noise starts occurring at 25 MPH, gets louder the faster you go, happens in 2WD or 4WD. 2. This has a brand new front differential in it. Polaris replaced the front differential under warranty less than 2 miles ago, the pinion bearing let loose in the original diff and sounded exactly like this. 3.
6/3/2013 · The noise was then very clearly coming from the front center. I balive its the front U Joint in the drive shaft or the combonation of that and the slop in the splines on the input shaft of teh front diff. I can wiggle the drive shaft around a fair amount but I cant get any play in th U joint itself so I am inclined to just let it go as is.
